It's not uncommon for the browser to freeze while opening certain websites, rendering images, or playing videos. A common error that you might see during video playback in Chrome browser is “The media could not be loaded either because the server or network failed”.

This error comes from the browser, not the website where you are trying to watch the video. Here, the admin has compiled a list of fixes that can be used to solve the media could not be loaded either because the server or network failed in chrome.

1. Check Internet Connection

First, check the internet connection. Try visiting a different site in the same browser to see if it works. If the cause is the internet, restarting the router, reconnecting the internet, or contacting the ISP for major connectivity issues should resolve the issue.
